The UNC Center for Public Telebision is North Carolina's statewide public television network committed to using telecommunications to provide the state's citizens with an essential source of education, information and inspiration. The Center provides unique learning experiences for students interested in a variety of telecommunications careers.

Urban Ministries of Durham
Urban Ministries of Durham is an independent nonprofit organization sponsoring three programs to provide food, shelter, clothing, and counseling to people in need in Durham. Urban Ministries is responsible for running the combined organizations of the Community Shelter for Hope, the Community Kitchen and the Mission Society.
