On September 26, 2009, a tsunami hit the island nations of Samoa and American Samoa.

The Community College National Center for Community Engagement (2006-2009 Learn and Serve Grantee) requests your FINANCIAL assistance to help the American Samoa community. Whatever donation you can make will go a long way for these folks right now - so no donation is too small. Country Club Dr., Mesa, AZ 85201 and we will send ONE check to the service learning program team at American Samoa to help them start to rebuild their community.

Kapiolani Community College in Hawaii (2006 - 2009 Learn and Serve America Grantee) is beginning to mobilize relief efforts. Collective donations on behalf of UH Manoa and Kapi'olani Community College can be sent to: American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, DC 20013.
