Clean Energy Durham is hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator to do neighborhood organizing in Durham involving household energy use.  Can be full time or split half time.

On September 26, 2009, a tsunami hit the island nations of Samoa and American Samoa.




Purple, a student organization at Duke University, called on the Duke community to express themselves in a Duke-Durham Mural.  The event took place Wednesday, November 18th and Thursday, November 19th.

Leadership Development Training: led by the nationally renowned Mr. Gerald Taylor, member of the National Staff of the Industrial Areas Foundation and community organizer for over 27 years.  The 2 hour training will focus on essential leadership skills such as power structure analysis, relational meetings, advocacy and campaign building.
