North Carolina-Activating Citizenship Through Service!

Complete 300 service hours in one calendar year and earn $1,000 towards an educational award!

NC-ACTS!, North Carolina-Activating Citizenship Through Service!, is sponsored by North Carolina Campus Compact and is funded through a grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service.  As a member of NC-ACTS! you will serve in partnership with schools and community-based organizations in the areas of education, human needs/services, and volunteer recruitment/capacity building.  After completing 300 service hours in one academic year, you will be eligible for an Educational Award of $1,000 which can be applied towards student loans or the cost of attending a college. There are two enrollment periods at the begining of each semester.  

*America Reads and Counts and DukeEngage (positions only in North Carolina) hours can be applied to the 300 hours of service.
